D.R. has an Anatolian Shepherd named Auggie.
150 pounds. 26-inch neck. 40-inch chest and pure muscle. Anatolians are an ancient breed of working dog — bred to guard flocks of animals.
Auggie is loving, but his working instincts make him reactive to other animals. He's so powerful that D.R. and her husband built an industrial trolley system just to move him safely between the house and the barn.
Cushioned bungee line. Heavy duty tie-outs. They had thought of everything. They don't want Auggie rushing at the other dogs, wildlife, or visitors that come by their homestead.
Then Auggie saw a squirrel.
He hit the end of the line at full speed. The harness — the one marketed as "heavy duty" and "strong enough" — blew apart on impact.
Auggie was loose.
He didn't chase the squirrel. D.R. grabbed his collar and got him inside. But her hands were shaking.
That night they found DUO Gear and started a chat. I happened to be the one on the other end — I talk to every customer personally.
After hearing what happened I knew exactly what Auggie needed. We customized a DUO Eclipse harness specifically for him — Cobra clips, heavy duty structural rings, extra bar tacks. Not decorative. Structural. Built to take the kind of force a 150lb dog generates at full speed.
Two weeks later it arrived. Then Auggie went after another local squirrel. He bolted. Hit the end of the line at full speed.
Every piece of equipment did its job. The harness held. They inspected it closely afterward — nothing out of place.
"We are so grateful to know that he is safely contained now."— D.R., verified buyer
This is exactly why I built DUO. Not for the easy cases. For the ones that keep you up at night.

P.S. Something new is coming next week. Same patent. More accessible. If you know someone whose dog needs this — stay tuned.
